Brussels (Netherlands), c. 290 x 250 cm, about 1700, depicting the subject of “The Bath of Psyche”, in which the beautiful king’s daughter is courted by servants during her bath and later marries the love god Cupid according to Roman mythology; the carpet is fragmented and trimmed in the upper and left sections, several areas of repair due to age, the external galloon replaced, preserved on linen on the back.
