Shusha Karabakh,
South Caucasus, c. 563 x 193 cm, about 1900, already at the beginning of the 19th century, carpets in Karabakh were knotted with Western and Persian influences, the present carpet in kelley format has been manufactured in Herati surface repeat, shades such as cochineal, green and the sheep wool warp with cotton wefts suggest the attribution to Shusha, original ends with short weaving finish preserved, soft pile wool with partially low areas, corroded brown partly untied, side edges rebound.
