Known as a “Sauwaldkasten”, 1st quarter of the19th century. A spruce cabinet with a blue-green ground and marbling, richly painted with flowers and ornament, dated "1824". The cabinet has 1 door, with lock and key, and a moulded stepped cornice. 186 x 126 x 59 cm. Some ageing and evidence of repair, with later feet and some minor retouching. (MIN)
