I, Verlag Galerie Welz, 1980, page 294, 295 (ill.), no. 1018 there with the inscription: cf. cat. no. 1017 In the present case Klimt alludes to the motif of the propped-up chin, which he used in the completed Portrait of Marie Henneberg (here in the reverse).
