In the “Riddled” project, which also comprised the designs for a cabinet, a sideboard, and a lamp, the American architect addressed the theme of porosity, which also plays a prominent role in many of his famous buildings (Simmons Hall of the MIT, MOMA Beijing). The thin, perforated wooden panels of the legs are reminiscent of Japanese origami works.
