Until 1965 I practised OpArt, and then I realised that there was too much thematic repetition. Today we have moved beyond experimentation of that kind. If I consider that from that phenomenological research a new way of seeing was born, I start to think: sooner or later we will have to look back at that era more attentively. It was taken away from us by the mass media without us, its creators, having profited from it in any way.
