porcelain, bodies in the classicising style, each cup and saucer with individual floral décor, gilding to interior, to exterior gilt rims, foliate border with beads painted en grisaille on a light blue band with white rims, burnished gilt ground with burnished gilt-painted border of small leaves on a matt-gilt band, brightly painted strewn flowers and small and large bouquets of flowers, angular gilt handle with leaf and console terminals, height 6 cm, Ø 13.3 cm, gilt ground to upper side of the saucers, some restoration to rim of one cup, Vienna Imperial Manufactory, date marks 1817, 1802, various turner nos, painter no. 6 Anton Friedl, 1795-1848, won awards for flower painting (Ru)
