A German Navy chronometer, "Lange & Söhne, Glashütte" No.5024, - Clocks, Vintage, Sculpture, Faience, Folk Art, Fan Collection

round movement, spring driven "Einheitschronometer", chain and fusee, chronometer escapement, compensation balance with cylindrical coil, power reserve: 56 hours, in Plexiglas clock case of later date, with built in brass base, plastic dial, original blued steel- and brass hands, matching glazed Bakelite movement casing with brass cardanic ring , engraved white lacquer original dial with significant traces of wear, 13 cm, Germany 1943, traces of wear and tear, technically in good condition, no warranty for precision of movement and long-term functioning, 1 key, 1 clock case with dial, (HP)

Ordered in 1943 by the Viennese clockmaker "Metall Lago Wien" for regulation purposes, via the Deutsche Seewarte Hamburg and RLM, with the intent of increasing the precision of the movement. Written correspondence and div. documentation enclosed.
