porcelain, the light turquoise body with wide and narrow gilt edging, the cover and foot with lavishly gilt leafy tendrils with blossoms and small flowers in enamel colours, the facing side with 2 medallions featuring polychrome painted summer and winter landscapes with frolicking amoretti, outlined by white and red pearls, the reverse side with different polychrome painted bouquets of flowers with birds and bird nest, the base of the body with white and gilt fluting, pine finial, the rim with acanthus and egg-and-dart relief, the edge of the foot with laurel wreath and strapwork, octagonal base with 4 moulded Bacchus’ heads and acanthus leaves, height 53 cm France, second half of the 19th century, (Ru)
