the interior with the crowned coat-of-arms of Saxony-Poland dated 1726, porcelain, of rectangular form, the body with gilt edging, Höroldt borders with gilt painted leaf festoons, on the facing side and reverse cartouches with polychrome painted scene: Apollo slaying Coronis and Jupiter seducing Calisto, with Latin titles below, both scenes outlined by leaf rocailles heightened with gilt and red, lattice work and festoons with blossoms, the sides decorated with figure of Zeus, the eagle on his shoulder, in the left hand the thunderbolts, Hera with a peacock, a bow held in the left hand, height: 11.5 cm, width: 7 cm, depth: 5 cm, gilding slightly scuffed, 2 minimal firing cracks, Meissen, blue crossed swords mark on the unglazed base c. 1725-1730, impressed former’s mark Paul Wildenstein as of 1720 at the manufactory, “Hausmaler” (Ru)
