Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 313 (327) x 198 (209) cm, about 1940, knots: H 14, V 12 per sqcm; extremely fine factory carpet from the Pahlavi Period with c. 1.68 mill. kts/sqm, on silk foundation with a high proportion of silk in the wool pile, the present item, albeit without weaver's mark, is probably from the Amoghli master workshop, inscriptions along the large kilim ends, excellent condition without defects.
