Central Persia (Iran), c. 325 x 224 cm, around 1940, the best Nain carpets came to the West from the factories of the southerly village of Tuteshk, cloth-like feel in fine, velvety wool quality, silk proportion in the pattern with c. 1 mil kts/sqm in excellent pile condition, since rugs were the most frequently produced type the present large format is also very rare.
