Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 385 x 290 cm, about 1930, as a result of rising demand the carpets from this workshop reached the American market in the last two decades and are now hard to find, one of their special features are their intense pastel colours in warm shades of red, gold and yellow, the present carpet displays an exceptionally good state of preservation with only slight signs of wear, minimal edge and end damage.
