Dutch narrow night stand, - Furniture and Decorative Art

1st quarter of the 19th century. Made in hardwood, veneered in mahogany, with a polished finish, decorated with rich floral marquetry in various dyed fine woods such as maple. The cabinet is tall, with round columns at the angles, the sides decorated with peacocks and butterflies and with 6 “san traverse” drawers. Ca. 148 x 99 x 48 cm. In restored condition. (DOC)
