mahogany, partly with black polished finish, inlaid with tropical woods; round metal dial with partly black patinated numbers, round curved hands; mahogany casing with one door, stepped shape; inlaid with geometrical and abstract leaf décor; casing key available, a pendulum, two weights and a sound spiral; on the reverse impressed WW with two dots underneath, 2337, WW with two dots underneath and 16403; the upper section slightly trimmed, signs of age and use; height 243 cm, length 66.8 cm, depth 32 cm. A table clock with a similar decoration by C. F. Morawe is preserved at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. (MP)
