Stamped verso "G. DURAND" (Gervais-MaximilienEugene Durand, 1839-1920), Paris late 19th century. An elegantly shaped bureau with tulipwood veneer and floral marquetry in mahogany and rosewood, also bronze doré mounts, with three open compartments, two drawers, two keys, a sliding writing surface lined with leather, and a Breche d’alep marble top. 95 x 76 x 33 cm. Restored condition with minor wear. (PZ)
