A painted wooden casket, with partly painted and relief-carved hunting and landscape scenes, a hinged lid with an outstanding relief depiction of a woman with an anchor, as allegory of Hope. With original lock and key. 13 x 34 x 25.5 cm. Some ageing and evidence of restoration, the paintwork flaked in parts. (PZ)
