c. 1952, for Walter Knoll, Germany, marked: 1447, black lacquered metal struts, solid oak and oak veneer, height 45.5 cm, diameter 100 cm. (DRAX)
A rare model that was only acknowledged and added to the catalogue raisonné by the Bertoia Foundation in 2014. This table does not appear in Knoll International’s American product catalogues and was only produced for the European market. Unlike the American catalogues, the German ones contained a number of other models, while those marketed by Walter Knoll in Germany were lacking.
