A pair of Naga bangles dubbed ‘trumpet-ended’. Made of yellow cast-alloy (brass), executed with ‘waste mould’ casting and engraved at the ends with dot-line motifs and volutes. This type of bangles are made and worn by the Naga tribes of the Indian state of Manipur. DM: 8.5 cm x c. 10 cm. First third of the 20th century. (ME)
