1: Tekke Turkmens: A pendant for a headdress or a robe. With the standard ram’s head motif etched out on a small silver plate — characteristically engraved with the Tekke curves and with twisted silver wire soldered around the edges. Fire-gilding on the free spaces. A round red gemstone (possibly carnelian) embedded in the middle. Two eyelets above and four on the lower edge, from which are hung at the ends of chains four sharp rhomboid silver pendants. L: 16 cm, W: 4.6 cm.

2: Sarik Turkmens: Two small, heart-shaped pendants in the form of Turkmen women’s ‘asik’ braid-ornaments. The cut silver plates richly decorated with twisted, hand-worked silver wire soldered-on (as is typical of Sarik ornaments). A pair of polished carnelians are set into the front of each heart-shaped plate (one of the stones hexagonal and additionally engraved with seven stars and a crescent). Both silver plates braced with brass and copper bars on the backs. Dimensions: 10.8 cm x 7.2 cm; 12 cm x 7.3 cm.
