Mixed lot (5 items): Yemen: Two necklaces with spheres, a bracelet and two rings. All made of silver. - Tribal Art

1: A necklace consisting of red beads and three segmented hollow silver spheres with nub edgings. Dispersed in-between are eight distance rings made of fine granulated silver. At each end of the necklace are a pair of smaller distance silver rings, followed by two finishing pieces with wave-ornamentation made of silver filaments. Hook-closure at the end of the silver chains. L: 45 cm (total).
2: A necklace consisting of patterned hollow silver spheres in three different sizes. With the bigger silver pearls segmented and furnished with soldered-on nubs and plates. On both ends, conical finishing pieces made of silver, with silver chains and a hook-and-eye closure. L: 48 cm (total).
3: A bracelet consisting of six openwork rows with wave decorations made of silver filaments. Featuring eight small, soldered silver stars and embellished with blue and red embedded glass drops. Opens on hinges, one of which with pin-closure. On the inside of the bracelet is preserved a piece of sheet silver with the embossed maker’s mark. DM: c. 6 cm.
4 and 5: Two carefully crafted silver rings, one of which ornamented with an embedded red coral pearl.
All 5 Yemenite objects without damage. First half of the 20th century. (ME)
