massive Paris pendulum movement, 1-2 week movement, Brocot escapement on the dial side, ruby anchor palettes, half-hour striker on bell, two-piece enamel dial, fine blued Breguet steel hands, "eternal" calendar with leap years, displays date, day of week, month and phase of the moon but is missing a hand, fine porcelain paintings, extremely fine engraved bronze oval doors, facetted and glazed, heavy fire-gilded bronze case, clock borne by two seated putti, ram’s heads, vase finial, flower garlands, oval base with painted porcelain inlays, missing on the back, 53 cm, France ca. 1880, signs of age and use, missing pieces, no warranty for function or completeness, 1 pendulum, 1 oval ebonised wooden plinth with glass case, 1 engraved gold-painted and satin-covered base, (HP)
