Last third of the 19th century. Made in walnut, the sides carved with winged lions, the backrest with acanthus leaf ornament, and a portrait flanked by female figures, with a loose seating cushion with later upholstery. In cared-for condition with minor ageing and wear, and a fine patina. (MIN)
