Combination writing and games table, - Works of Art (Furniture, Sculpture, Glass and porcelain)

With three variants, stamped "G. KINTZ" (Georges Kintz, maître from 18 Dec 1776), France Louis XVI period circa 1780/90. A freestanding mahogany table on casters, with two drawers, a removable top, one side with a later leather lining, and on the other side a later felt lining and a games board for tric trac in ebony and dyed ivory marquetry on the frieze area. Ca. 74 x 115 x 60 cm. With later candle nozzles, two beakers for dice and two dice available. Some ageing and evidence of restoration. (PZ)
