Museum quality Italian Baroque cabinet, - Works of Art (Furniture, Sculpture, Glass and porcelain)

"Pel de rava", Lombardy, 3rd quarter of the 18th century, attributed to the workshop of Giuseppe Busneto. Of bombé form with serpentine shaping on all sides, in softwood with filigree legs, finely veneered and marquetry decorated on three sides and on the top with walnut, rosewood and boxwood, with a mirrored leaf pattern, a folding door with brass handle and marquetry bands verso. 80 x 43 x 34.5 cm. In professionally restored and conserved condition. (DOC) Comparable pieces are to be found in Castello Sforzesco in Milan, in the Camellini collection in Modena, and in otherItalian private collections.
