Italy mid 16th century. Made in solid walnut, carved on the sides with leaves and flowers, the backrest with variously carved panels of rosettes arranged symmetrically, with a central coat of arms with crest and motto "RORE ET SUDORE", 92 x 256 x 38 cm. Some wood losses, with a fine patina. (DOC)
