Silver 800, some enamelling, Oriental pearls, imitation stones, made by Hermann Böhm, Austrian gov. hallmark 1872-1922, socket fastening (partly of a later date), length c. 51 cm, 39.8 g, no x-ray exam conducted on this object, traces of usage Hermann Böhm (active 1866-1922) was one of the most renowned representatives of neo-Renaissance goldsmithery. He participated in the Wiener Weltausstellung in 1873 and received a medal of merit for his work. (AT)
