probably modified from the original into an officers weapon, 21 cm blade with double-edge (Bowie blade) approx. 6 cm to the tip, s-shaped iron quillons, the front terminating in button finial, brass ferrule, the tang edged in brass and inscribed 'KARPATHEN 1917', riveted staghorn grip panels, sword knot loop, steel sheet scabbard with applied brass mouthpiece and shoe, engraved with the initials HE and PRYSLIP 2/12 1916, brown leather belt loop damaged, otherwise good condition(He)
