A decorative portrait of an Austrian Lieutenant-Colonel. The present composition is related to a postcard which Dressler made in the summer of 1916 for the war provision office. Depicted was FML Ignaz Trollmann 'Conqueror of Lovcen'. Both the place (Scutari on the Montenegrin Albanian border) and the time suggest this concerns a member of the staff of the XIX Corps.
