Northwest Anatolia (Turkey), c. 200 x 142 cm, first half of the 19th century, the present significant field pattern has its origin in Ezine, Çanakkale Province; in modern pieces from the late 1920s the motif was resumed for Kozak and Yuntdag carpets, signs of age and wear, some open pile areas, several old repairs and darned areas, external “S” border trimmed on both long sides, fringes folded on both sides.
