1: A ‘Tumar’ amulet pendant of the Saryk Turkmens, made of silver, with a tubular container for inscribed amulets (opening on the right), as well as with a triangular crest with embossed, soldered floral décor and a central gem (carnelian or glass). H: 5.2 cm, W: 13 cm.
2: An ornamental board made of silver (gilded), in rhomboid form. Worn by the women of the Tekke Turkmens on their clothes. The inner field engraved with typical Tekke volutes, the outline executed in openwork with triangular lines. The surfaces are fire-gilt. With 9 embossed pendants made of silver, on a chain made of silver. A covered in carnelian in flat-cut decoration in the centre. H: 8.3 cm (without pendant), W: 12 cm.
3: An upper arm ornament of the Tekke Turkmens, consisting of a leather band with buckle. The leather is covered with many individual pieces made of embossed silver and with three ornaments (two cabochon cut carnelians and a blue glass stone). L: c. 30 cm.
All three objects: 19th century to early 20th century. (ME)
