- in 1935 Louis Moire started to build bicycles for traveling under the name "Goeland" (English: gull)
- his approach was to produce bikes for the middle price segment using nice but midprized frames and components
- this Campeur model from 1961is different: Moire or the former owner himself used high prized components as the maxi car hubs show or the aluminium crank, slim as steel but a lightweight
- also the Mafac brakes or the Huret-Allvit gear system are special
- this travelers bike comes with a precious cultivated patina
- small scratches in paint work
