- the GT Vengeance looks like the blade of a knife
- the cross-sections of most of its tubes on this triathlon frame are this shape
- developed for the US triathlon Olympic team for the 1996 games in Atlanta
- models were also sold to selective customers
- achieved further success with Mark Allen, winning almost every triathlon around 1990
- to mark his achievements the GT Vengeance Mark Allen Edition was launched in 1997
- it has 26-inch wheels, three frame heights and beautifully executed details
- instead of a conventional seat clamp, there are three recessed grub-screws that secure the seat-post
- this model is number 229
