- Perfetti, the owner of the Italian chewing gum brand Brooklyn, ordered 100 Gios Easy Rider bikes
- set up a racing team
- team colour was a gorgeous mid-blue
- since then all Gios racing bikes have sported this simple mid-blue
- the most famous Gios racing bikes are the Super Record, the Professional and the Aerodynamic
- an understated classic bike
