Original condition. One of two cabinets designed for an apartment at Mannersdorf near the Leithagebirge, Austria.
Kaym and Hetmanek had studied under Otto Wagner and Adolf Loos and worked as a team of architects between 1925 and 1935. They were prominent exponents of the independent Vienna settlement movement and also worked as interior architects and furniture designers.
