Central Anatolia (Turkey), c. 332 x 148 cm, end of the 19th century, small patterns and a very finely woven execution, mostly involving the use of cochineal, are the trademark of flatweaves such as the present one, consisting of two panels in slit technique and partly made of cotton, this piece is in good overall condition, the partly open middle seam should be secured again, at the slightly damaged upper end of the left panel the knotted warp threads are no longer preserved.
