Henryk Siemiradzki Workshop - 19th Century Paintings

(1843–1903)
Phryne, inscribed (incised) H. Siemiradzki, oil on canvas, 5.5 x 26.5 cm, (Rei)

The painting shows the central figure of the composition “Phryne at the Poseidonia in Eleusis” (1889, State historical Museum St. Petersburg). This work is possibly a later, smaller repetition of a fragment of the masterpiece.
