Countess Otolia Kraszewska studied under Ivan Aivazovsky at the St Petersburg Academy of Arts before she moved to Munich in the 1890s, where she worked for the periodical Jugend. She participated in the exhibitions in the Glaspalast in Munich, in the Berlin Great Exhibition as well as in exhibitions in Cracow and Warsaw.
