France, last quarter of the 19th century, on the underside a plaque of the firm Krieger Paris (Antoine Krieger, founded the eponymous firm in 1826). An elegantly shaped mahogany table with high quality floral and ornamental marquetry, rendered in various fine woods, with a lower compartment, finely chased and gilt bronze mounts some in the form of rams’ heads, the top with edging. H: 75 cm, D: 53.5 cm. In fine, restored condition. (MIN)
