Lady’s make-up or dressing table,
Louis XV period, circa 1765/70, stamped J. L. COSSON (Jacques Laurent Cosson, maître from 1765). Made in various softwoods and hardwoods, with rosewood and tulipwood veneer, also richly decorated with marquetry in various partly dyed fine woods depicting flowers, musical instruments and cube patterning. With 2 drawers at the front, a pull-out extension ledge with later lining, the top hinged and divided into three, gilt bronze mounts, 1 key. 72 x 80 x 47.5 cm. Restored condition. (MIN)
