Made in softwood with rosewood veneer, richly decorated with marquetry flowers and panels in brass and mother-of-pearl, with two doors, a hinged moulded lid, four interior drawers with later metal coin compartments, and one key. 34 x 40.5 x 29 cm. In fine, cared-for condition, with minor ageing and wear, one brass fillet missing. (MIN)
