Neo-Classical hall cupboard,
Austria/South Germany, circa 1790/1800. A softwood cabinet with screw assembly and therefore demountable, with an overhanging moulded cornice and moulded stepped plinth, canted angles, with cherry wood and cherry wood veneer, also with later marquetry rhomboid pattern in the panels using further fine woods, rail ornament, fully lined interior, secret compartments, the left side for folded clothes, the right side for hanging and with two small compartments. Approx. 230 x 196 x 60 cm. Some parts replaced. Outstanding and fully restored condition. (DOC)
