Two lotus leaves in copper repoussé
Sino-Tibetan, 18th/19th century. One leaf depicts Shadakshari-Lokeshvara, the four-armed Bodhisattva with mala and lotus, set within his top-knot the figure of Buddha Amitabha. The other leaf depicts Buddha with a alms bowl, presumably Shakyamuni or Amitabha. Both probably from an eight-part set, together forming a lotus mandala. Traces of gilding, blue paint and verdigris. Height: 16,6 cm (BA)
