gold, emeralds, pearls, the hinged lid with engraved scene of the Mother of God reclining on a blanket, 2 midwives bathing the new-born, with St. Joseph, verso decorated with an engraved scene depicting the birth of Mary, St. Anna in confinement, 3 neighbours, St. Joachim, one woman arranging the bed, the other bathing the new-born, the erroneous inscription: Birth of Christ, inscription on the margin: clothes and bones of St. Olympiada ?, pendant, 6 x 4,5 cm, Gross Weight: 61 g, probably Kremlin workshops, 15th/16th Cent., (Lu)
