designed in 1917, manufactured by the Gmunden pottery factory, the off-white body covered with a green glaze and decorated with a raised linear pattern, the underside with impressed monogram WW and model no. 0127, height 12 cm, diameter 16.8 cm, (B).
Lit.: WW Archives at the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts (ÖMAK), Vienna, WWMB 25, work no. 127. This vase was first executed by Bernhard Bloch in Eichwald in black and white in 1917, and between 1917 and 1920 the Gmunden pottery factory produced as many as 80 pieces in white, black, and green, as well as with a green mottled pattern.
