Southwest Uzbekistan, c. 225 x 162 cm, 19th century, silk needlework/embroidery on six-part cotton ground, the field is covered with a diamond lattice of green tendrils concealing different blossoms, the main border is shaped by large round flowers with leaves and fruits in open drawing, some signs of wear to the pattern and age-related damage, brown corroded, secured with linen fabric on the back and burlap borders.
