1957/58, for Fritz Hansen, Denmark, laminated teak cross base, Styrofoam seat shell, foam upholstery, covered with brown leather, marked with ink stamp: FH made in Denmark, height 75 cm, width 74 cm, depth 70 cm, height of seat 38 cm. (DRAX)

During the first years, Jacobsen’s famous “Svanen” chair, which commonly features a metal base, was also briefly edited as a version with a four-leg laminated teak base. However, it was only produced in small numbers in this variant.
