An adjustable arm chair (“Seat Machine”), Model No. 670, designed by Josef Hoffmann, - Design

manufactured by Jacob & Josef Kohn, Vienna, c. 1906, beech, bentwood and plywood, stained to simulate mahogany, bolted, with pierced rectangular and square ornament, the backrest adjustable to five positions, brass hinges, tubular brass, paper label to the underside of the seat frame: JACOB & JOSEF KOHN WIEN, height 106 cm, width 67.5 cm, depth 90–169 cm, height of seat 28 cm. This model was presented at the “Kunstschau” in 1908.
