A rare “Lyra” armchair, designed by Anna-Lülja Praun & Thomas Lauterbach for the “Sonett” programme,
c. 1955, manufactured by Karl Fostel Sen’s Erben, Vienna, steel wire, the light blue lacquered sheet iron seat perforated with a pattern of squares, height 106 cm, width 55 cm, depth 73 cm, height of seat 35 cm. (DRAX)
This is the only known example of this model. It was exhibited in: Möbeldesign der 50er-Jahre, Museen des Mobiliendepots, Vienna, 2005.
