Southwest Persia (Iran), c. 260 x 147 cm, around 1920, on a flame red background, high number of wefts, two central stepped rhomb motifs with four extensions, woven finishes on both sides - in the upper section qashqai-like brocading, the alternating coloured weft threads give a beautiful striped back view of the carpet.
